Week In Review~I'm Back!!

I've missed blogging.  I really enjoy keeping up my blog and feel it is so important because it is how I document all of our memories.  With a new baby in the house, we have been very busy, but have lots of good stuff to share!  I am excited to have a new site up and running and am praying that I can set aside time each week to keep up with it!  Here is our first week in Review.

Places We Went: We are still not going too many places yet.  All four of us went to Publix, and one evening I ran to the Post Office and to pick up my contacts.

Highlights: I am trying to soak up every minute with our new little guy, remembering that they grow up WAY too fast.  I love when baby smiles at me.  Although he sometimes smiles at Daddy and Big Brother, it's mommy who gets the ear to ear grins!  I am also enjoying watching Little T in his role as a big brother~he does such a good job!  He is very interested in his little brother and is always touching him and kissing him.  I can already tell they are going to be the best of friends!

Funny Moment: I always tell people I am not a good multitasker, yet there I stood in the kitchen one day nursing the baby while stirring our dinner on the stove.  Who knew I possessed such talent!

Low Moment of the week: Watching both boys suffer from colds:(  Baby was especially congested, although he did not act fussy from it.

I am reading: Why Pro-Life by Randy Alcorn

Ministry Update: We have made incredible progress in our pro-life ministry!  WE are officially a nonprofit with our state and are just waiting on our tax ID number.  We received a $1,000 donation after our last meeting which we were super excited about.  We are averaging about 15 people consistently at our meetings now and there are lots of outreaches going on.  One of the most exciting things happening within the ministry is that we are going to be sponsoring a HUGE pro-life rally in our city in January.  It is amazing to see all the doors God is opening for us!

I am praising God For: Last Wednesday I missed a call from my OB at 6pm~closing time.  It was the nurse and told me to call her in the morning regarding lab results.  I immediately became very fearful because I had just had my annual exam, and have never gotten a call back afterwards.  I called a dear friend and asked for prayer.  I spent most of the night thinking what if's, and considering the possibility that they may have detected cancer cells.  After a long night, I called in the morning only to find out they were calling about a bladder infection that I already knew about.  And my results from my annual are completely fine~Praise God!

To Do this week: Make reservations for our upcoming Disney trip, continue working on pro-life website, select read aloud for homeschool this year.

I am praying for: All of the women who did not get good results after their annual exam
